Local television stations nominate Islanders v. Juanita football contest for game of the week honors.

The Mercer Island vs. Juanita football game set for 7 p.m. Friday Sept. 16 at Islander Stadium, has been nominated for King 5 TV’s Big Game of the week and Q13 Fox’s Varsity on Q Game of the Week. Fans can vote for Mercer Island at www.king5.com/sports until Thursday at 1 p.m. and www.q13fox.com/sports until Thursday at 8 p.m.
