April 28
BURGLARY: Three bicycles and a tennis racket were reported stolen from a garage in the 3800 block of W. Mercer Way at 3:21 p.m. The garage door had been left open while the residents were out of town.
May 2
PROWLING: At 9:48 a.m., a man said his locked vehicle, which was parked in the secure parking area of the Island Square apartments, was prowled. A wallet containing IDs and a credit card was taken.
MORE PROWLING: An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 2700 block of 76th Ave. SE at 12:03 p.m. Miscellaneous items were stolen.
May 4
MISCHIEF: Unknown suspects carved graffiti and a hole in a divider in a men’s bathroom in the 8100 block of SE 40th St. at 1:19 p.m.
STOLEN CAR: A stolen vehicle was stopped on Island Crest Way at 5:53 p.m. The driver was arrested and later booked into King County Jail. Other offenses included criminal impersonation with intent to defraud, making a false or misleading statement to a public servant and driving with a suspended license.
May 5
FRAUD: At 12:21 p.m., a woman in the 7200 block of SE 24th St. said that a credit card and Verizon account were fraudulently opened in her name.
May 6
THEFT: Suspects allegedly shoplifted several items from the south Rite Aid at 8:21 a.m.
PROWLING: A suspect shattered a car window in the 2000 block of 84th Ave. SE at 2:41 p.m., and stole a purse containing a credit card and cash. The purse was found at the scene by a passerby and returned. The card was used at a QFC in Seattle.
MORE PROWLING: Also in the 2000 block of 84th Ave. SE, a victim reported a car prowl at 3:06 p.m. The vehicle window was shattered, and photographs were taken.
May 8
THEFT: A bicycle was stolen from a front porch in the 5000 block of 90th Ave. SE at 7:14 p.m.
May 9
FRAUD: A man in the 5000 block of 84th Ave. SE said at 9:25 a.m. that someone had attempted to open a credit card in his name, but the card was stopped before it was issued.
