Several Mercer Island athletes signed letters of intent to play college sports at their respective schools next year.

From Mercer Island High School, Brooke Behrbaum committed to play volleyball at the University of Pennsylvania. Anika Christofferson and Margaret Seaton committed to women’s crew at Stanford. Leah Fisk committed to swim at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Morgan Peyou committed to play softball at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Sofia Raisys committed to women’s crew at the University of Washington.

Mercer Island resident Carly Ledbetter, who attends Holy Names Academy, committed to row for West Virginia University.
