Approximately 90 teens spent Sunday volunteering for seven nonprofit organizations as part of J-Serve, the international day of Jewish teen service, coordinated by the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. Teens collected items for the Eastside Baby Corner at Mercer Island’s North-end QFC and Albertsons, helped with a Mother’s Day mailing at Hope Heart Institute, performed yard work at the Ravenna Kibbutz and Stroum Jewish Community School, and sorted clothing at Treehouse’s warehouse.
