KMIH rolls out Log Boom Radio over Seafair weekend

Mercer Island High School’s radio station, KMIH 88.9 The Bridge, returns with Log Boom Radio from Aug. 2-4 to broadcast the Seafair unlimited hydroplane races and Blue Angels air show. This marks 75 years of Seafair and the fifth year students have broadcast the races from Genessee Park near Lake Washington. KMIH will be located in the hydro pits all three days. “There are more students than ever volunteering to help with the broadcast and it’s awesome to see so many young people excited to participate in this annual Seattle summer tradition,” reads a press release. Seafair has provided a discount code for Island residents and KMIH listeners. Use MIRADIO24 to receive 20% off Seafair weekend general admission tickets.
