It’s green day time when the city of Mercer Island holds its annual Leap for Green Earth Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20 at the community and event center.

This free event promotes environmental practices and activities for kids and adults, and raises general awareness of local sustainability resources. Islanders can enjoy entertainment, food vendors, sign-up for summer camp, and more. Cedar Grove and The Mercer Island Community Fund are the event sponsors.
