Letter | Noise, alcohol, drugs and trash in Town Center

I wish to complain about the constant noise emanating from the North end QFC at nights on the weekend. Quite frequently, I see children and teenagers driving cars, playing music very loudly, fighting, shouting, and generally causing a disturbance, when across the street hundreds of people are trying to sleep.

I wish to complain about the constant noise emanating from the North end QFC at nights on the weekend. Quite frequently, I see children and teenagers driving cars, playing music very loudly, fighting, shouting, and generally causing a disturbance, when across the street hundreds of people are trying to sleep. I’ve also seen the same kids drinking beer and smoking. I’ve also smelled marijuana being smoked as well, and once chanced a look at a marijuana pipe.

How would the parents of those teenagers like it if I parked in their driveway and turned the music all the way up in my car and started making a lot of noise and started drinking beer, fighting with my friends, and then left the trash on their property? I deal with that issue every single weekend.

I hope the parents of this Island will start taking responsibility for their children; otherwise, the police will be receiving a lot more calls from me.

I also wish to write that the people who frequent the Noah’s Bagels store directly beneath my home are pigs. They don’t take the 10 seconds it takes to throw away their trash in a proper receptacle if it inconveniences them in the least. Either the property owner of the business or the apartment buildings or the city need to do something about the trash situation there.
