Students from Mercer Island’s Youth Theatre Northwest (YTN) filmed “The Drowned,” featuring sea monster Swampy, during the week of Aug. 5 at Covenant Living at the Shores on Mercer Island. The cast included Shores couple Ron and Barb Ross (pictured) and an employee. The cameraman is Michael Yakovich and the student is Ian M. YTN has promised to debut the finished product for residents when it is completed. YTN provides programs for students, ages 3 to 18, on Mercer Island.
