Many thanks to the KCLS Board for approving the additional input from Island residents.

A citizen’s group is working to preserve the special features of our library, to obtain Island input on upgrades and renovations, and, if library closure is necessary, to reduce closure time and obtain comparable temporary library facilities on the Island during closure.  We need your input and voice.  For more information, visit www.libraryremodel.org.  Send your input to library.remodel@gmail.com.  We would like your input on how the library can be improved and what features of the library should definitely be preserved.  Post on our blog.  Print out our petition from the website, circulate it among your friends, and let us know and we will pick up the signed petitions.

Thanks for caring about our library.  That’s the only way Islanders will get a good renovation/upgrade result.
