Aspiring soccer players can kick their game up to the next level with Performance Soccer Club’s Mercer Cup event Aug. 13-14 at Islander Middle School.

The event, which is open to anyone in the U6 through U16 age groups, can register as teams or individuals. Scrimmages begin at 9 a.m. on Aug. 13 with a lunch provided to the participant. Players will also get to take place in a shoot out contest and other events.

All participants get a free T-shirt. The first place teams will get a $25 gift card.

The event is $145 per team or $20 as an individual. Boys & Girls Club members can earn a discount for registration.
