A new juried art show, "Summer Showcase," runs July 25 to Sept. 9 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center (MICEC). The show features four local artists: Pamela K. Beer, Tony Halstead, Marsha Karr and Fiona K. Lau.
A new juried art show, “Summer Showcase,” runs July 25 to Sept. 9 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center (MICEC). The show features four local artists: Pamela K. Beer, Tony Halstead, Marsha Karr and Fiona K. Lau.
Karr will feature a new painting, “Sundae on Mount Rainier.”
“It’s a surreal version of a familiar view that is near and dear to people crossing the I-90 bridge,” she said.
There will be an artist’s reception from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday.
