The Mercer Island select 11U Thunder baseball team recently won the USSSA Summer Celebration baseball tournament in Lacey, Wash., in mid-April. The team beat the PC Diamond Jaxx 5-3 in the title game, and outscored competition 24-5 during the team’s three games.
