Bellevue broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to surge past Mercer Island fastpitch 4-1 in the regular season finale Monday, May 12 at Bellevue High School. Mercer Island fell to 4-9 in its conference and 8-10 overall.

Natalie Ricklefs went 2-3 at the plate for Mercer Island, while Morgan Peyou was 2-4 for the Islanders.

Mercer Island will compete in the 3A/2A KingCo fastpitch tournament, which begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at Hartman Park in Redmond.
