The Mercer Island Library will reopen for public access on July 7, according to the city.
The King County Library System (KCLS) is advancing to Phase 4 of the organization’s reopening plan on June 30, following the state’s full reopening by that date. All currently closed library branches will reopen by July 13.
According to KCLS, hours will change at all locations, curbside to-go pickup will close, and services will be modified as they continue to assess and apply health and safety protocols as needed.
The Mercer Island Library Facebook page notes that its curbside service will continue through July 1, when the library will temporarily close to prepare for the reopening. The page notes that most libraries will be open five days a week per the upcoming plan.
“We can’t wait to welcome you back in to your library, Mercer Island!” the page reads.
