The Mercer Island Little League 10-11 All Stars won the district title on Monday night in Kirkland. The team took the district 9 championship during the tournament and will advance to this weekend’s state event.

The team includes: Matthew Boissoneault, Will Hamilton, Ben Hauge, Justin Ho, Tyrell Little, Nihil Nayar, Garrett Poore, Alex Shanks, Parker Simpson, Jack Smith and Robert Weaver. They are managed by Steve Poore and coached by Andy Shanks and Peter Noone.

The team will play their first state tournament game on Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. in Spokane at Salvane Park.
