The  Mercer Island Little League All-Star team, made up of 10-year-olds recently won the state title.

The team competed in the tournament held in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island, winning the championship on July 21. The team from Mercer Island won seven straight games.

The team includes: Alex Arron, Nathan Buchan, Tyler Butson, Evan Dickstein, Caiden Fukano, Wesley Ho, Michael Lee, Will MacCormack, Max Malakoff, Jack Mattox, Paul Noone, Rory Shanks and Tripp White.

The team was coached by Peter Noone, Mike Dickstein and Andy Shanks.
