The Mercer Island School District Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, in City Council chambers.

On the agenda is an update on I-90 tolling and the preliminary budget for 2013-2014.

The board will also discuss the facilities, specifically getting an update on the preliminary design for the new elementary school, high school expansion and information about the expansion of the middle school. The board also expects to discuss the costs and the community feedback poll.
