The Mercer Island wrestlers earned a decisive win over Sammamish on Thursday, Dec. 9, beating the Totems 72-12.
The Islanders, who picked up their first league and second win of the season, dominated all of the matches, save for the 171 weight class, the only class Sammamish took the win in.
Mercer Island also won the KingCo Clash of the Classes at Skyline High School the weekend before.
The Islanders will travel to the Panther Invitational at Bonney Lake High School on Saturday, Dec. 11 and will be at Interlake on Thursday, Dec. 16.
