MI Farmers Market Garden Party set for Aug. 29 at Aljoya

Mercer Island Farmers Market (MIFM) will celebrate another successful season with its annual Garden Party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. Platinum market sponsor Aljoya will host the gathering, which will feature a buffet, a specialty cocktail and beverages, and live jazz music from the Kareem Kandi Band. The event will take place in Aljoya’s beautiful outdoor garden patio at 2430 76th Ave. SE.

MIFM supporters and Island residents are encouraged to attend (21-plus; no pets please). Tickets can be purchased via the Brown Paper Tickets link at https://mifmgardenparty.bpt.me or through the MIFM website at www.mifarmersmarket.org.

MIFM is located at the intersection of Southeast 32nd Street and 77th Avenue Southeast, at the north end of Mercerdale Park. The 2023 season features more than 50 local vendors, including farmers, artisans and food trucks, plus weekly live music and a children’s activity booth. The market welcomes an average of 3,000 visitors per market day.

Upcoming MIFM events are Harvest Markets on Oct. 29 and Nov. 19.
