Mercer Island High School’s Drama Department will present its spring play, “Servant of Two Masters,” by Carlo Goldoni and translated by Edward J. Dent, from April 25-27 and May 2-4 in the school’s performing arts center.
According to a press release: “A timeless comedy about love, passion and mistaken identity, ‘Servant of Two Masters’ tells the story of Truffaldino, who takes on two masters in order to get a good meal. Chaos, confusion and hilarity ensue. Pulling from the Italian tradition of commedia dell’arte, this show uses improvisation and mask work to tell its colorful and fun tale. Come join the laughter.”
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. with a pair of matinees at 2 p.m. on April 27 and May 4. For tickets, visit: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/82882
