Mercer Island High School will celebrate Homecoming this Friday, Oct. 2. At 4:30 p.m., the MIHS marching band, cheerleaders and class floats will depart from the corner of 77th Avenue S.E. at S.E. 32nd Street in the Town Center for the Homecoming parade.

The Homecoming football game will follow at Islander Stadium, where the Islanders will take on the Liberty High School Patriots. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
