MISD students can receive vaccines, boosters on Feb. 12

Staff members can also receive boosters.

The Mercer Island School District has partnered with Costco Pharmacy to provide COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine and booster shots for students on Feb. 12 at Northwood Elementary school, 4030 86th Ave. SE.

From 8-10 a.m., children ages 5-11 can receive their second vaccine doses. A parent or guardian will be required to accompany the child for their dose.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on that day, students age 12 and over and staff members can receive their booster doses. They must have received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine five or more months ago to be eligible for the booster. They are asked to bring a copy of their CDC vaccination card or another vaccination record for the pharmacy to verify eligibility.

There will be 200 vaccine doses and 600 booster doses available.
