MIYFS Breakfast postponed to March 6

The date was changed due to the forecast of another winter storm in the area.

The date for the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) Foundation Annual Breakfast was changed from Feb. 13 to March 6, due to predicted inclement weather.

“Community coming together to support the programs and services offered by MIYFS is a vital cause, but community safety is an even higher priority,” an announcement from the Mercer Island city department said last week.

The “Shop Local” event that accompanies the breakfast also was postponed to March 6.
