People can now nominate a Mercer Island High School (MIHS) alumnus for the 2024 Pathfinder Award through Feb. 28. Nominations can be submitted at: https://tinyurl.com/2a45z3xz.
The Pathfinder Awards, established in 2016, celebrate MIHS graduates whose achievements, strength of character and citizenship inspire and challenge today’s youth. As part of the nomination, submitters will be asked to tell the Pathfinder Award committee how the nominee has contributed to society as a Pathfinder through their service and leadership. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
“The Pathfinder honors our graduates’ remarkable impact in a variety of fields, including the arts, athletics, business, education, entertainment, law, medicine, the military, philanthropy and volunteerism, public service, scholarship and science,” reads the nomination form.
Nominations should include detailed information about the nominee’s education and work history and should explain the extent and impact of his/her contributions to the local and global communities.
