NW Yeshiva graduates 26

The Northwest Yeshiva High School of Mercer Island held its graduation ceremony on June 16 for the 26 members of the class of 2010.

Mercer Island residents include twins Chaim Kohen and Jonah Kohen, who are the valedictorians of College Prep Studies and are former Islander Middle School students. Islander Nicki Etsekson is the recipient of the Principal’s Award. Island resident Danny Medved will spend next year studying in Israel before entering college in California.

Other graduates will attend the University of Washington, Brandeis University, Boston University, University of British Columbia, LaFayette University, Denison University, Smith College, Touro College, Stern College, Seattle Pacific University, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
