Vehicle prowl: In an open case, a resident in the 2600 block of 84th Avenue Southeast reported that someone broke into their vehicle and rummaged through it.

Dec. 27

Theft: During a one-hour period in the early morning, unknown suspects twice swiped items from the thrift store donation bin in the 7700 block of Southeast 34th Street. The cases are currently open.

Burglary: In the 8400 block of Southeast 47th Street, a resident reported that an unknown suspect was attempting to enter their house. The case is currently open.

Dec. 26

Theft: An unknown suspect stole beer from a business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Fraud: A resident in the 7200 block of 94th Avenue Southeast was concerned that an ex was using the reporting party’s son’s identity for insurance purposes.

Dec. 25

Theft: Officers arrested a suspect after a Walgreens employee stated that the suspect stole items from the store located in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Malicious mischief: In the 3600 block of 84th Avenue Southeast, a church employee reported a broken plaque outside of the building.

Dec. 23

DUI: Officers arrested a driver and issued a citation for driving under the influence in the 4400 block of West Mercer Way. A reporting party stated that the vehicle was situated in the middle of the road and it was towed.
