Officers wear special pink patches during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Mercer Island Police Department (MIPD) officers will be wearing special pink patches during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October as MIPD joins other departments across the region in showing its support. Retired MIPD detective Pete Erickson designed the patches, which are available for $10 with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
