Sport courts temporarily closed for improvements

The Luther Burbank Park sport courts were set to be closed starting May 21 through August to make way for a fresh new look and needed repairs. Originally constructed in 1972 below grade and on top of a dense silt and clay ground, the court surfaces have become wavy and are inundated with tree roots, affecting safety and recreational play.
