Fraud: A Kirkland resident reported that her Notary Public Stamp was stolen. She previously worked at Wells Fargo. She threw her stamp in the trash at Wells Fargo about 18 months ago. Her stamp was used on March 19, by Classic Connections Travel to fraudulently obtain money from a person in Pennsylvania. The stamp expires on July 8 this year.

March 24

Arrest: Island police took custody of an 18-year-old Bellevue woman on an outstanding warrant for reckless driving, just before 11 p.m. at the King County jail in Seattle. She was taken to the SCORE facility for processing. Bail was set at $1500.

Fraud: A South end resident told police that her social security number was stolen and used to file a fraudulent tax return. It is associated with the Archdiocese [of Seattle] frauds, the report said.

Car Prowl: A resident of Forest Avenue reported to police that sometime the night before, his vehicle, a Ford Windstar van, had been prowled. Items that were taken included documents, including insurance and vehicle registration documents, a pair of gloves and Oakley-brand sunglasses. There was no sign of forced entry.

Lost: A resident of Shorewood Drive reported to police that he had lost his Mexican passport when he moved, sometime in the last three weeks.

Fraud: A woman who lives on S.E. 63rd street reported that someone used her social security number to file a false tax return. It is likely related to the Archdiocese of Seattle data breach, the report said.

March 25

Fraud: A resident of of S.E. 61st Street told police that his social security number was stolen and was used to fil a fraudulent tax return. The police report noted that it was likely related to the Archdiocese of Seattle financial data breach.

Burglary: A Bellevue resident reported that someone took computer hardware and software and an American Silver Eagle dollar from a business in the 9600 block of S.E. 36th Street sometime after 10 p.m. the loss is estimated at $1800. There was no sign of forced entry.

Fraud: A woman who lives on West Mercer Way reported that she and her husband had their social security numbers stolen and used them to create false tax returns for both 2012 and 2103.

Fraud: Another resident who lives on West Mercer Way also  reported that his social security numbers has been stolen and used to create a false tax return. He told police that his number was obtained through the data breach that occurred at the Archdiocese of Seattle.

Fraud: A resident of Ridgecrest Lane told police an account in her name was used to purchase airplane tickets without her permission. The loss is $1300.
