Due to the weather forecast and chance of thunderstorms this weekend, the difficult decision was made to cancel Pride in the Park for June 15 at Mercerdale Park, according to the city of Mercer Island.

“We hope to reschedule this event for a date later in the summer, so please keep an eye out for further details. Huge thanks to the event organizers, volunteers and community groups who had planned to attend. We look forward to celebrating soon,” reads the city notice.
