Recycling Center exhibit re-installed at Mercer Island Library

Artifacts from the center’s history will be on display until Jan. 14.

A Mercer Island Library exhibit featuring artifacts from the award-winning Recycling Center’s history has been expanded and is on display now until Jan. 14, 2018.

Mercer Island Parks (CCMIP) co-Chair Meg Lippert recently reinstalled the display.

CCMIP hopes to to preserve this landmark of the Island’s early environmentalism. Citizens are encouraged to add suggestions for repurposing the Recycling Center to the Suggestion Box at the exhibit.
