Winter weather is coming and it is time to ensure that you are registered to receive emergency updates via email and text.

The school district will close schools if it is deemed unsafe to operate buses or if school environmental systems are not working. Other important reasons include when staff members are unable to travel to work from on or off the Island. School administrators determine — if weather forecasts are serious enough — either to close schools or open on a delayed schedule.
