July 22

Theft: A victim reported that they had suspect footage of a porch package theft in the 7400 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Theft: Someone stole music equipment from a parking garage in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Vehicle prowl: Someone stole a purse — which contained an unsecured firearm — from a victim’s vehicle in the 5600 block of Island Crest Way.

July 21

Theft: A resident in the 7800 block of Southeast 27th Street discovered that her vehicle’s rear license plate had been stolen and replaced with someone else’s stolen plate.

July 17

Fraud: A caller claiming to be a bank representative scammed a victim out of nearly $20,000. The victim resides in the 9100 block of Southeast 43rd Street.

July 16

Burglary: A resident in the 8500 block of 85th Avenue Southeast reported that someone rummaged through the residence.
