Mercer Island Rotary is accepting applications from now until April 1 for its $10,000 scholarship opportunity for graduating high school seniors from Mercer Island to go toward accredited continuing education or career training.

Criteria for the scholarship: service above self, academic achievement, character reference and academic need.

Rotary will award the scholarship on May 1.
