Seattle police arrest man for driving vehicle stolen on Island

Seattle police officers recently arrested a man for driving a vehicle that he swiped on the Island the day before, according to the Mercer Island Police Department (MIPD).

After receiving a photo of the man from the Seattle department, MIPD officers recognized his clothes from surveillance video of recent Island thefts and vehicle prowls. MIPD said that the suspect stored a multitude of stolen items from other thefts in the vehicle, and that many of the belongings were returned to the victims. The suspect is also facing felony charges.
