King County Sheriff John Urquhart kick off his re-election campaign on Wednesday, April 17 at House of Hong in Seattle’s International District.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. House of Hong is located at 409 8th Ave. S.

King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes and former U.S. Attorney John McKay will be among the co-sponsors of the event.

The 2012 election was a special election to complete the remaining year of former Sheriff Sue Rahr’s unexpired term. The November 2013 election will be for a full, four-year term.
