Shores residents attend Easter service

Some 50 residents at Mercer Island’s Covenant Living at the Shores braved the early morning cold to attend the annual sunrise service lakeside on Easter. The guest preacher was Rev. Richard Gronhovd, retired Presbyterian pastor who recently moved to the campus. The service was officiated by Rev. Greg Asimakoupoulos, who begins his 10th year as chaplain this week.
