Mercer Island Saddle Club’s Juniors will welcome kids of all ages to their annual Spooktacular Happy Halloween Party from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Enjoy a scavenger hunt down the barn aisle while saying hello to the horses before entering the haunted trails. Swing by the Cook Shack for some hot cider and sweet treats before finding one’s way to the cookie-decorating loft. Enter the magic arena and visit with an enchanted unicorn or the rarely spotted “Super Onyx” (smile for the camera!), and don’t forget to stop by the Fun Games Arena and Arts Corner to express one’s ghoulish creativity.

To reach the entry gate, head east on Southeast 68th Street and turn right just before Island Crest Way. The club is located at 8635 SE 68th St. Parking is available at the nearby QFC lot. The club suggests a donation of $20 / family, which will support the club’s junior fund and barn operations.
