Seattle Foundation’s annual day of giving event, GiveBIG, returns next week to raise money for more than 1,600 area nonprofits.

Many support the Mercer Island community, including SEAVURIA, St. Monica Parish School, Yellow Wood Academy, Community Health Africa – A Poverty Solution, Mercer Island Schools Foundation, Youth Theatre Northwest and Tales of the Alchemysts Theatre.

The one-day online giving event will take place from midnight to midnight Pacific Time on May 10 to raise funds for nonprofit organizations, large and small, serving Greater Seattle and beyond.

GiveBIG 2017’s theme is “Now More Than Ever,” reflecting the urgent need to support nonprofits working to create greater equity and opportunity for all.
