Tennis earns two wins over Woodinville and Juanita

The boys tennis team beat Woodinville on Tuesday night, expanding its league lead to 3-0, remaining undefeated against the Falcons. The Islanders won the meeting 6-1.

The boys tennis team beat Woodinville on Tuesday night, expanding its league lead to 3-0, remaining undefeated against the Falcons. The Islanders won the meeting 6-1.

Head coach Joyce Hedlund said it was very hot outside, but with little wind proved for good tennis conditions.

Against Juanita, the Islanders swept the Rebels without losing a singe match on Thursday afternoon. Hedlund said it was great playing weather and the team was getting used to the new format for KingCo matches.

This week the Islanders traveled to Lake Washington, after Reporter deadline yesterday. Tomorrow the team travels to Roosevelt for another league matchup.
