June 23

Malicious mischief: Someone broke into a mailbox in the 8100 block of West Mercer Way.

June 22

Theft: Someone pried open mailboxes and stole items inside in the 4800 block of Forest Avenue Southeast.

June 20

Needle found: While walking a trail in the 4500 block of 90th Avenue Southeast, a resident located a needle that police later placed in a sharps disposable container.

Theft: Someone stole an electric scooter that was left unattended in the 8000 block of Southeast 40th Street.

June 19

Theft: In the 6100 block of 85th Place Southeast, a green Honda — occupied by two white males believed to be responsible for stealing two bicycles — fled from police.

Fraud: A loan was taken out in the name of a resident in the 7700 block of Southeast 22nd Street.

June 18

Fraud: A resident in the 2400 block of 76th Avenue Southeast fell victim to an incident where a fraudster made purchases while using the resident’s credit card number.
