The Mercer Island Thrift Shop will host a donation day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St.

At the drive-up donation event, volunteers will be on hand to help with people’s donations. Donated items help support Mercer Island Youth & Family Services programs.

Donation events (and the 24/7 donation bins) will continue to be located at the community center while the Thrift Shop expands operations. Currently, the Thrift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays at 7710 SE 34th St.
