Tom and Kathleen May celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 9, 2008, after Mr. May’s milestone of turning 75 on Aug. 8.

Their five children, Boeing and real estate have kept both of them busy in many places.

The couple resides on Mercer Island, where the majority of their children grew up and went to school. Mrs. May has relatives in Tacoma and San Francisco, Calif., and Mr. May has many relatives in Wisconsin, where he is the oldest of eight siblings.

The couple’s children and grandchildren toss off their hats to Mr. and Mrs. May and congratulate them: Theresa, James Dodge, Tom, Carrie May, James P., Kathie May, Jane May, and Suzanne, Michael Stanley; and twin grandchildren, Jarred and Wyatt May.
