Puget Sound Blood Center will be on the Island twice this month. On Monday, December 16, Islanders are invited to give blood at Mercer Island at Mercer Island Evergreen Church (formerly Mercer Island Covenant Church) between noon and 6 p.m. (closed between 2 and 3 p.m.)  On Thursday, December 26, there will be a blood drive at the Stroum Jewish Community Center at 3801 East Mercer Way.  Hours are between 1 and 7 p.m. (closed between 3 and 4 p.m.).
