The Mercer Island High School Volleyball Booster Club and Island Thunder Volleyball Club will be hosting a skills camp July 27-29 from 6-9 p.m. at Mercer Island High School. The camp is open to all girls from grades 6-12 and costs $200 per attendee. Players with any level of experience in volleyball are welcome.

Proceeds will benefit the program and be used to purchase new gym equipment and electronics for the 2015 fall season and fund scholarships for future summer camps.

The camp is run by Destinee Hooker, a 2012 Olympian and silver medalist, former member of the U.S. National Team, and professional volleyball player. Hooker will interact with the players through Q&A sessions and share her experiences as a collegiate and professional player.
