The Mercer Island School District is sponsoring a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for 5-11-year-olds on Nov. 13 and Dec. 4 at Mercer Island High School, 9100 SE 42nd St.

Volunteers are needed for the 7:30-10:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. shifts, and tasks will include checking health attestations, confirming parent consent and student names and ages, helping with traffic flow, reminding people to be masked and socially distanced, and monitoring people when they are in the recovery area.

The first dose clinic will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 13, and the second dose clinic will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 4. The clinic is contingent on vaccine availability.
