Waldo returns for Island Books’ annual Where’s Waldo event. This month, Island Books has teamed up with publisher Candlewick Press to host the annual event. During July, kids can stop by Island Books (3014 78th Ave. SE) to receive an official Waldo passport, which includes information about participation and prizes. Then, the search is on. Waldo is hidden in 20 local businesses this year, with more than 10 Waldos to find at Island Books alone. Once you find him, head to the front of the business, where you’ll be rewarded for your efforts with a stamp on your passport. Those who are able to get all 20 boxes stamped will be entered in the prize drawing, taking place at 5 p.m. on July 31.
