Thinking about a candidate for our Mercer Island City Councilman, Pos. 6, I want a candidate who is a long time resident who has been active in our school community, and our city’s growth and change in the last decades. And that candidate is Benson Wong.

He advocates for safe open spaces and a thriving Town Center as well as practices that preserve our environment. He has served us well at the state level at TVW Channel 23, and the Stadium Authority and at the national level with the 1983 Supreme Court decision on the illegality of the Japanese internment.
