Washington State Department of Transportation will close Interstate 90 eastbound from Interstate 5 to Island Crest Way beginning at 11 p.m. this Friday to 6 a.m. this Saturday to conduct important maintenance work. “Islanders should plan ahead and travel at alternate times or take an alternate route if travel is necessary during the overnight closure period,” the city said in its weekly newsletter.
