Patrick Yamashita will discuss Mercer Island capital projects at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on Oct. 17 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome.

Yamashita is the Mercer Island city engineer/Public Works deputy director. According to his Linkedin page, Yamashita has worked for the city of Mercer Island for the last 24 years, and previously worked in the engineering realm for the city of Tacoma for 11 years.
